Many are claiming that the theme of 2 Thessalonians is the rapture, therefore apostasia in 2:3 should be understood as a reference to the rapture, not apostasy. In this video we examine the context and show that the theme is tribulation and the day of the Lord. The rapture is mentioned in 2:1 because is it God’s promise that our earthly tribulation will come to an end, and we will not see the heightened tribulation of the day of the Lord.
