Look at the Lamb

A translation of Siehst du das Lamm? by Albert Frey
Siehst du das Lamm?

LOOK at the LAMB
Look at the lamb in Egypt dark,
Its blood on faithful homes a mark
That saved from the destroyer’s hand,
Before they moved t’ the promised land.

REFRAIN:
We worship You, We worship You, We worship You,
Oh Lamb of God (X2)

Look at the lamb whose blood was spilt,
An offering for the people’s guilt,
A spotless lamb that bought a year,
And then another must appear.

Look at the Lamb, our Sacrifice,
For us He paid the highest price.
The burden of the world He bore,
With grief and pain afflicted sore.

Look at the Lamb upon the throne.
The Father’s power is His own.
The only worthy One is He.
We praise Him through eternity.

Look at the lamb upon His arm.
The Shepherd keeps it safe and warm.
He sought it with a will to find,
That none of His be left behind.
