Do you argue with your Maker,
Like stubborn potter’s clay
That refuses to be molded
The most appropriate way?
Don’t you know the One who made you
Knows what He made you for?
He has only good intentions,
So fight with Him no more!
Things you see as imperfections
And hate about the mold,
When the potter works his purpose,
They’ll shine like polished gold.
When we trust our Maker’s wisdom,
Uneasiness will cease.
God is good, and those believing
Are filled with joy and peace.
