The Names of God, Part 9
Like Joshua on the battlefield,
While Moses to the Lord appealed,
And held the rod of God up high,
With Hur and Aaron standing by,
The banner which we want to raise
Is one that gives our God the praise.
Our efforts without God will fail,
But battles by His strength prevail,
So He’s our flag, our rallying post,
The banner under which we boast.
In this we’re all of one accord:
Jehovah Nissi, He is Lord.
