Can you say, “Wow!”

The audio edition of The Rogue, narrated by Therese Plummer and published by Podium Publishing, is a finalist for an Audie Award in the Faith-Based category. The Audie Awards are the audio-book industry equivalent of the Academy Awards for film achievement. This year the Audie winners will be announced on March 4, 2019 at Gustavino’s in New York City.

In May 2017, as an unknown Indie author, I published The Rogue on Amazon where it was one of over a million books published on that platform that year. That fall it was discovered by Podium Publishing, which looks for undiscovered Indie authors with marketable offerings in the hard science-fiction genre. They released the audio version on Jan. 2, 2018. Fast forward a year … now The Rogue is a finalist for an Audie Award. But whether it wins or not, it is an honor to have this project recognized in this manner—validated by industry professionals for quality of content and presentation.

I am reminded of the verse in Proverbs 22, “Seest thou a man diligent in his work? He shall stand before kings. He will not stand before obscure men.”

Upcoming Projects

The third volume of the Planets Shaken series is outlined and the rough draft is well under way.

The first volume of the Prophecy in the Crucible series, The New Heavens and Earth, is rough sketched and material is being gathered.

The Soothkeep website has been updated and optimized, thanks to Daniel Morell at CairnTek LLC.  I am now working on adding new material.
